Itinerary for Salem is listed under the "Forms, Itineraries etc." on the left tab. Your student will need snacks, water and sack lunch/dinner for food for the day. Calendar Change!
Due to Fall Festival performances on Thursday the 17th we will be changing our practice schedule for that Thursday and Friday. We will have after school music on that Thursday and full band practice 5-8 on Friday. The calendar has been updated and is current. Please also take note that the week of the 14th we start with split brass and woodwind practices. They also start at 5:30 and go to 8:30 unlike the normal 6-9. Thank you!

SENIOR PARENTS!
Next Friday, August 21st will be Senior night for all Senior band members at the home football game. I have not received all the information about this yet, but, would assume that you will need to arrive to the North End zone in the stadium at around 6:00pm. I will pass on more information as soon as I receive it.

HOLIDAY WORLD!
We will meet at 8am in the auditorium at EHS to get ready to leave for Holiday World. We will depart at 8:15am and be back around 9pm. The trip will cost $40.00 and will cover ticket and transportation.
Day 2!
We made it officially through day 2 unscathed. There were no storms, no tornado warnings just lots of working, there was also a special group of dinner servers who served the parents! The opener is starting to come together and the kids are doing great! Our award winners for day two were:

Day 1
Rain, and the threat of tornadoes could not stop us! We got through day one and put a large chunk of Virus on the field with music! The kids did an amazing job fighting through adversity with the weather and started camp off on a great start. As always the parents made the experience even better by have the most wonderful "Hello Kitty" themed dinner! Our award recipients for the day were:

Band Camp is Coming!
This Sunday at 12:00pm we will start loading to get ready for our 2015 season band camp at Depauw University in Greencastle Indiana. We will load from 12:30-2:30 and leave at 2:28 for camp. You will be able to find all information regarding camp on our forms page. There will be a parent preview at Depauw on Thursday evening at approximately 8pm in the track and field/tennis facility all are welcome and encouraged to come up during the week and see what our kids are hard at work on!

Jazz I End of Year Concert! 5-31-2015
Jazz I will be taking the EHS Auditorium stage this Sunday, May 31st at 2pm to present their final 2015 concert. This concert will showcase various selections from throughout the year and several new charts. Admission will be donations only, so please come and share the hard work that these musicians have put in over the year!

Spring Showcase...5-16-15
Tomorrow we will be presenting our second annual Spring Showcase! We will start serving food at 4:30 and this will continue till 7:30. Tickets are still available and are $8.00 for dinner and performances. The performance schedule will be as follows...
5:00pm in the Auditorium
5:00pm 7th Grade Jazz Band
5:30pm High School Jazz Band II
6:00pm in the Gym
6:00pm Winter Guard/Winter Percussion
7:00pm in the Auditorium
7:00pm 8th Grade Jazz Band
7:30pm High School Jazz Band I
All performing members need to arrive at 3:30 to set up and will be dismissed at 8:30 after clean up. Jazz I members will assist in the cafeteria from 4:00 to 6:00. Jazz II members will assist in the cafeteria from 6:00 to 8:00.
Wind Ensemble Concert!
Tuesday May 26th at 7pm the High School Wind Ensemble will be performing with the Junior High accelerated band in the EHS Auditorium. Cost will be $3.00 per person and $9.00 max for family. 5 and under are free!
